Run Away @ Mandarmani, West Bengal, India

Was really missing life for the last few months. Too much of work pressure, too many deadlines, and too little breaks! Got a small breather last weekend and went out for Digha/Mandarmani.

It was refreshing after the last few month's constant slogging.

The stars were there to greet us.

We had some water sports.

But unlike my last trip to Mandarmani, this time we decided to stay back for the night instead of coming back on the same day.

Men and the Sea @ Digha, West Bengal, India
Sea and the Sindbads was the first attempt. This time it was even shorter journey - one night stay at Digha. But the sea continues to fascinate me. Few more attempts:

Early morning at Digha - with a little old pic look.

Early (according to me 8 AM is early) morning at Digha - played with "Curve" in Photoshop.

End of another journey - discussing the story way back to home.

Digha Revisited
It was in March 2007 when I was in Digha last time (Evening Stroll: New Digha Beach, Alone 2: New Digha Beach & Alone 1: New Digha Beach.)
This time it was an outing with the office friends (I dont like the word colleague - too archaic). It was 2 day - 1 night stay. There was little time to go out and appreciate Digha - also the sky betrayed thoroughly and remained cloudy.

This was a stunner for me. We were strolling on the beach in the morning and suddenly found this composition. Its all about Mother Nature. A tribute to her creativity.

I wonder why loneliness always haunts in my pictures. They somehow present themselves infront of me wherever I travel. It hits you somewhere within.

Moving in hordes but still maintaining their individual grace.
